Sydney Wind Symphony

Sydney Wind Symphony is an exciting and dynamic concert band based in Sydney, Australia.

Established in 1985, the ensemble attracts talented musicians to perform a challenging repertoire that includes works by traditional composers and more modern-day standards by Ticheli and Grainger. Today Sydney Wind Symphony is recognised as one of the leading amateur wind symphonies in the Sydney metropolitan region and competes regularly in both the State and National Band Competitions.

Under the inspirational leadership of Musical Director John Buckley, Sydney Wind Symphony performs a number of concerts each year and brings to life the music it performs for the enjoyment of the local community.
